After a great vacation time, this week I got back to work, and, it couldn’t be a better return. I had a great two days training this week about presentations and I really needed it.

I used to present technical trainings to my team only and I’ve always had a great focus on the presentation subject.

What I didn’t used to do, and this training showed me, was focus on the training audience and how they see you.

With this, I collected some lessons learned from previous presentations experiences I did:

  1. Think: have clear objectives and know your audience goals and currently knowledge.
  2. Prepare: research the theme, have your material and notes ready, with a backup.
  3. Rehearse: again, again and again. Specially when you are presenting in another language.

We always have space to improve and I hope to practice these lessons learned in my next presentations.
